im hoping someone can help me work out how my audio stuff works. i have a couple speaker boxes im using in my car, in each of them is a 120wrms woofer 4ohm and a tweeter which is listed as 'having no impedance loading' and 30volts rms each box is driven with 120wrms per channel coming from the amp, the woofer and tweeter are connected inside the box. now what i want to understand is how it works in regards to the power they are getting, would the 120watts coming into a box be splitted between the woofer and tweeter, ie the speakers get 60watts each or how does it work ?

Basicaly, the reason there was no listed impedance load given with the tweeter is because it uses a 'minimal' ammount of power, which will in reality, will not produce any noticable power drain, or load increase on the amplifier.

To answer your question, your woofer will be recieving the entre 120W rms produced by the amp.
