I just bought a 2004 aviator and am starting to wish I had the navigation in it. Does anybody know what would be involved in swapping out the 6 disc head unit for an OEM navigation unit? I know it's dvd based so I'd have to get that and put it in as well as an antenna, but does the wiring harness match up or would this be a huge pain? I was hoping to keep an eye out for the parts from a scrapped vehicle if this can be done reasonably.

couldnt be to hard dont know for sure but chances are you can buy a wire harness and antenna and that would be that. or if you were to pull the navi out of another car you could grab the atenna from that but would still have to get a wire harness
