What can be upgraded with aftermarket components in a BA sound system>? How can it be done? What is easy/hard?

Does the stock HU have decent SQ?
If not, would there be any way to rig up an entire audio system, that ran independantley from the stock one? This would mean mounting the aftermakret HU in the glovebox or somewhere else in or under the console, and probably involve some decent fibreglass work hehe!!

Also, what have BA owners done so far?
Any comments, ideas or pics?

You can replace the BA speakers and add amps using Speaker->Line convertors easily.

As for rigging up an independant audio system, Laminge has aftermarket SatNav in his BA and it is mounted at the bottom of the ICC/Dash, I think it is DIN sized so you could mount a head unit there.

Then just cable to that location and presto!
