Hey guys, does any one no much about the ba alarm upgrade, i have bout it off ford and i wanna install it myself for a bit of fun but the main control borad, im not sure where that mounts to, its about 10cmx15-20cm, could someone please help me out with this,,,thanks...

i have not had a look at the Ford supplied upgrade alarm, but i would presume that it is similar to the earlier ones.

it would most likely be made by Vision . that is who supplied the earlier models anyway.

i think that the main control box is normally just cable tied up behind the dash.

for the maximum security , it is best to try to hide it so that it is not easily found by the scum that might want to disconect it.

the harder it is to get at the better.
that is one of the benifits of after market car security , every fitter does things a bit different , making it harder for thiefs to know where to look.
