BA stereo quiz

Yeah, we all know that there is stuff all u can do RE: installing a new head unit.
I have a 4 channel amp i would love to put in the boot. (Two channels for the sub, one each for the rear speakers). All i can think off is running a line out converter off the rear speaker cables. Thats one pre-out sorted. What about the other pre-out?
Who's got a remedy for this drama?
Maybe it's too early in the morning and i'm not thinking straight

confused Re: BA stereo quiz

Now u have me interested.
So u installed a new head unit. How did u wire it in? Does the standard unit still work? Is it hooked up through the steering wheel controls? Was it hard to take the centre panal apart without interfearing with the aircon/lcd screen?

Bit more info if u don't mind. Thanks.

you wire the new unit in totally independant of the cars factory system.
you fit the new unit below the centre control unit, where the auxilary plug is/was. steering wheel controls are not working at this stage , however i am
trying to find an interface which will work with the factory switches. you do not take the centre control module out.

So do u just connect the speaker wires from the new unit, to the out-going speaker wires? Do u disconect the speaker wires from the centre control unit, or is it et up so u can use both units? Is the centre control module easy to get off so as to hook up the new wires?

Thanks for your help.
