I have a BA Ute with the prestige audio.
I am wanting to retain the head unit and replace the speakers for better sound.
I may add an amplifiers at a later stage..
- What are the sizes of the front and rear speakers in the ute?
- Have you guys done this?
- What improvement have you experienced?
- Can you replace the tweaters?
What do you guys recommend?

They are 5X7's front and rear.
I'v got Eclipse point sourece 5X7's. Great Speakers.
And yes you could replace the tweaters if you wanted too...

If ya want some replacements, Im selling mine to put some differnt ones in... The point sourece 5X7's retail for about 450, i'm sellin mine for 250ish a pair if ya want them!

Does anyone know how I get to the rear speakers in a BA Ute?
Do the grills just pull of or do I have to remove the whole b pillar liner?

can also fit 6x8 in front doors mb quart are fantastic, rears need to be removed from pillar back then fit 6x9 speakers,, get an amp it will sound much better
