Can my EA GL tape deck run.........Help

Iím looking at putting two more speakers into My EA GL and I was wondering if the standard Radio/Tape deck could run its two standard speakers already in there and two 100w speakers that Iím going to put into the rear of the car.

Or could the standard tape deck / radio run two 6x9Ē 240w 3 way speakers in the back and 2 100w speakers in the front.

I still have not made up my mind which option Iím going to do.

Please tell me which one of my options it could run or any or both.

I think you'll find you can cut the layer over the top of the parcel shelf and the holes for the speakers will be there already.

It is illegal to cut the metal of the parcel shelf as it is part of the structure of the car.

I think it will crap out, your speakers will draw to much power as you will have to have the volume turned up to hear anything.

Stock decks dont have much power usually, thats why stock speakers are usually 25w or 30w speakers.
