I was doing some enquiries of late to install a new audio system in my typhoon. I had a BA XR6 that i installed amps, speakers and a sub in. I took all that gear out before i sold it but i was not 100% happy with the gear i put in. So i was looking for some new ideas and gear.
I came across this new product the other day. I think it is quite new to the market anyway. Basically it is a speaker line in convertor to RCA out. It has inputs for the front and rear speakers and the outputs for the front, rear and a sub. It also has an input for sub but you don't need it. the rear channel input automatically splits into the rear and sub outputs. I previously used the stinger convertors and then ran those into a preamp/equalizer to split the rear speakers into rear and sub. It is made in th USA, so you would hope it is of good quality.
The biggest problem i had was the whining noise from the engine comming thru the front speakers. Apparently this product is a digital convertor and has stuff in it to produce a quality output without the noises and crappy signals.

Look for the LC6 product. The LC8 is the same except it has 8 inputs and outputs instead of 6.
