Hey all,

I was wondering if someone would be able to post a picture of the type of torx screw used in the EF/EL stereo-brackets. I dont get my EL Futura till friday, and i've already bought and installed the adaptor on my old head unit, and i just want to see if i have anything around the house that could be used to remove the Torx screwes i hear oh so much about.

Goto Dick Smith buy a security torx bit set, they have the cheapest price, and a security tox bit (have the hole in the middle) can be used for standard torx screws as well.

I think i (by i, i ofcourse mean, my dad) may have one of those sets in the garage, happen to know the size of it? im thinking hold off till i see the screws till i go out to dse and buy a kit (double check and the stores around my area are stocked up nicely, or so it says online).

Bye a Torx set or just use a flat blade screwdriver... thats what I did.

the torx bit you require is a "T20"
make sure you get the theft proof one with the hole up the guts of it
