I'm having an extremely annoying problem with my stock radio in my '88 EA S. The radio works fine, but then for no apparent reason all sound cuts off from the left front door speaker and only comes from the right hand side. If you lightley push on the radio head unit, the speaker makes a little "popping" noise and then the sound returns and everything is normal...

I was thinking there may be some kind of connection lose in the back of the radio. Any ideas on what this could be and how to go about fixing it?

It may be the pot in the radio is buggered. The Pot is the resistor thats in effect the volume control. Mine does it also and is scratchy when i turn it up or down. Remove your radio and take a look.

I have a stock radio off an EAII '90 Spack, its pretty much mint condition if you want to make me an offer :)
