Hi.

Does anyone know the wiring arrangment for the EB II stereo? I'm wiring up a mp3 and I've never done it before. Cheers.

Thanks. MP3 wired in OK. Couldn't find any wiring looms to suit at electronic stores and Strathfield claimed not to have any. I ended up just splicing and soldering.

Then the fun part was figuring out how to rig up the brackets to actually fit it in. It was all fine in the end.

hey i know this hasnt got much to do with wiring but can anyone tell me whether i can have 6x9s fitted to the rear dash of my eb series 2 fairmont. i have been told it cant happen because of the housing for the middle seatbelt being mounted on the rear dash and there isnt enuff room... is it possible to cut out the rear dash to make 6x9s fit (there is a plastic bolt in the way) or will i have to have 6 inch speakers installed? I will post a photo if anyone would like to see what i am talking about. cheers

It's actually illegal to cut up the rear parcel shelf. You could use spacers which lift the speaker up higher.
