EB Rear Speaker size

Hey,
does any1 know the maximum size of rear speakers you can fit in a EB is it only 6 inches or 6.5 or even bigger? also will 6*9's fit?

6*9s won't fit unless they are on stands or the shelf is cut (this being illegal and not roadworthy). I think some 6.5s will fit, not sure if all will. 6" is your best option.

Don't cut your shelf to fit 6x9's, back when I was a yungin I did it and certainly regret doing it now.

Or you can mount the 6*9s under the shelf, doesn't sound so good though

yeah drop the 6x9 idea. Ive got a set of new clarion 6' and they do the job nicely. Unless you like the look of tacky stands then you are laughing.
