Hi,

Has anyone put an in dash Screen in their EF/EL ? If you does it clear the part of the dash above the surround without hitting it ?

I think you need to put the motorized screen in the bottom DIN slot, so that it won't intefer with your buttons and vents above it, when it comes out.

It can be put in the top DIN space, however it will patly cover your air vents and may need to sit out from the radio surround about 1cm in some modles..
I have a pioneer setup in my FBT and its placed in the second DIN so that i dont have to have it sitting out at all, looks good but problem is it is at a 90deg. angel instead of aiming upwards..
In the top DIN i just use a cd/dvd holder, looks stock (unless u know your fords like us) when all not working.
