The car's an EF GLi ... it has factory front speakers, and Kenwood 6in 140W 2 way's in the rear, (replaced non-working) facotry speakers, my question is what's the best way to upgrade the system but still utilizing the Kewoods, ie them in front 6x9's in the back ?? or wont 6in fit in the EF GLi front doors ? Also keeping in mind there's could possibly be an amp and sub coming soon, so if you want to reccomend the whole lot go ahead .. im clueless with audio, and and dont want to be run around the bush with places like tonkins and so forth. so i reakon id need a set-up that was sorta in the middle, pre amp/sub but wont need changing when they come if thats possible..?? anyway have a think and get back to me.
Personally, i dont like keeny speakers, i recommend Alpine or Pioneer, as for power figures, it depends on how much you want to spend, but for quality go alpine. If you have alot to spend, id start to look towards focals.

Get some Boston front splits, you'll regret it if you don't.

I could start talking technical... but I'm tired.
Have a listen to them.
The clarity is just amazing compared to the competition. I figure If you're going to put speakers in, go some decent quality, otherwise get an exhaust fitted and wind down the windows.

Never actually heard of focal splits.
The Bostons can get pricy >$600 a pair mark, depending on model.
