Struzball

Hi i will be buying an alpine head unit soon.
Couple questions,

1. At the moment there is a pioneer cd player, i assume i cant just plug the plug in the back straight into the alpine?? If i cant, am i able to get an adaptor that i've read about for pioneer -> alpine?

2. What is the Wattage of the stock pioneer speakers in the EL? If the new head unit is 4x50W would it even make it much better to buy some new ones? (i'll buy speakers and amp further down the track)

yeah my mate has a ed his headunit is 4*52watts the stock speakers handle it fine but i recomend getting 2 6*9 speakers for the back because with the stock speakers you feel little bass
