Any one out there know how to remove or disable the factory alarm??
I trying to help out a buddy who just had a aftermarket one installed.
The guy at the shop said he found it, but it went off again this morning.
He got this car from his father who got it new with the alarm in it. But we have been told ford did not put factory alarms.

ummm Ford not fitting a factory alarm?? thats news.

Any who You cant remove it but you can stop it, its easy get the alarm to activate then listen to where the sound is comming from, Then just disconnect the siren/horn (if it is a horn "type" alarm you should have 2 of them so just check after disconnecting that you normal horn works. Ford thought they would be smart and hide the one on my car in the boot (trunk)

I dont think ford have any advanced alarms as standard so you should be able to disable it no problem.

I easy way to set off the ford standard alarm is to open the drivers window, lock the doors with the key then pop the bonnet (hood)
