Hi, I got into my car this morning and the radio is totally dead, no power or anything. The clock on the dash is dead as well. The only thing I did last night was attempt to plug a portable air compressor into the 12v socket by the ashtray. Have I blown a fuse or is it something else.
I would definitely check fuses first. With a simple test light, they can all be checked in a few minutes. Some radios have their own fuse, sometimes found on the back of the radio. It may have an inline fuse, especially if it is an after market radio.
