Fitting a new aerial

How do I remove the existing (broken) aerial from an ED Falcon and put in a new one? I saw them for sale at Super Cheap Auto but did not want to buy one until I knew how to do it...

BTW the old one is not electric and the new one won't be either (unless they are not much harder to fit? How much more expensive are electronic aerials?).

Thanks for any tips/instructions!
