I have recently got a ford fiesta si 1.4 UK (m reg) 1994 model with a 2005 ford radio fitted into it.
I use a Griffin SmartDeck (
Griffin Technology: SmartDeck - Cassette Adapter for iPod ) to connect my ipod to my radio tape player. At first it did work, but when i came to trying it again it no longer plays in my car stereo.
Ive tried the smartdeck in my tape deck inside my house on my hi fi and it works fine. when i put it into my car radio it plays on the ipod and you can hear the song very feintly through the car speakers when you turn the radio volume up to full.
+ also normal tapes work fine within the tape player in my fiesta.
any ideas why a normal tape would work fine and the ipod cassette adapter not? and its also a little weird how it did work for a time.
