Given the situation that my Car was stolen last Tuesday, im interested to hear from people on thier recomendation on good alarms. Its obvious that the POS i had failed and my car was taken.

The type of alarm will probably depend on what car i am planning on replacing my EA with, but lets asume its going to be an EAII onwrds and has central locking at min. To be on the safe side, id like to hear about alarms that would completment smartlock, but are good enough, that if i didnt get a smartlock car, would funtion to the same degree.

im not sure if there are a lot that integrate easily with smartlock but just be sure to find one that can page or sms u if the alarm goes off this way if its in a carpark and ur a min or two away shopping and someone sets it off u will have at least the chance to run back...
gps integrated with this sms would be a good feature also, if they take it u might be able to tell the cops where to go...
