Got myself a whole heap of sound deadening last night, and combined with what I've already put on the car, it comes up to about $1000 worth. Good contacts though saw me paying wholesale for about half of it, so the total sum comes to around $750 that I've spent.
It includes:
3 x "70cm x 110cm" sheets of serenity max
3 x "70cm x 110cm" sheets of DPQ (I think that's what it's called, more heavy duty than serenity max)
2 Large rolls of bitumen material (like insulation)
4 rolls of brown bread (the stuff I already have on the car)
and 8 focal plain chant sound absorption pads (expensive little fvckers )
Hopefully should have it all in by the 18th, will have some pics soon :)
i need some stuff for the EF and would have gone in with you - so you could have gotten a better price!! i spent a shitload doing the EA, and its all gone to waste :(
Sounds full sik mate. I wanted to get into this stuff but I've decided I'll abstain in the name of cost/weight reduction. Can't wait to check it out though.
I hear you got yourself late modem rubber door trim linings, instead of that clear plastic crap. I've got some now as well. (6)
