Trouble with the electrics on a Ford Van? – (previously running great)

The Alarm System started going haywire – windows, wipers etc. all wouldn’t work. It started stalling in the streets so we booked it home and it died in the driveway –

Disconnecting the alarm system might enable us to start the van but we don’t know how.

This is a factory installed alarm system - 1994 e150 van – What was done so far is….
The horn wires were cut to stop the beeping...then the kill switch was cut – still not working.

I only want to bypass the system in order to start the truck - does anyone know what I need to pull out/disconnect in order to start the van. Right now - it doesn't start at all.

by the way - I am really a woman helping out a man – (what’s up with that?)and would appreciated ANY details anyone can give me on doing this. THANKS

hey thats great wontrun im not to proud to admit i like to have help once and the while also.
unfortunatly i know very little about the factory alarm systems and probably cant help much.
hang loose and maybe someone can tell you something useful.
or try posting in our garage section under in car entertainment.
maybe they will be of more help.

i'm not sre either but the alarm would be under the dash i guess, drivers side possibly. Thats where most of the electrical stuff goes. It would be some kind of box which you should be able to unplug. Just have a look under and see what you can find.

first thing id do is go to checkers an' get a technical book like chiltons on the van.it should have the alarm diagram in it
