What we did when me and my mate installed mine was use a multimeter to determine which wires were the constant +12v and switched +12v, and then using a 1.5 battery we 'pinged' each speaker by touching each pair of colour-coded wires to the battery and listening to where the clicks came from. Then just note it all down on a note pad and off you go.
Took us about 11 hours all up but that included driving to several shops on a Sunday to find those damn security Torx bits, and also to make a bracket for the new stereo (my car's an EL), and fitting 4 new speakers, and stopping for lunch and dinner. But it was fun and the result kicks ass!
