Guys im just about to get an AU2 which has the stock single cd player in the dash. I want to change the speakers to some that ive already got which also includes installing my amp and subs.

My amp doesnt have high level inputs though, and ive read that you can use a line level converter to get the signal to RCA's for the amp. Has anybody with an AU done this before and what is the sound quality like?

Also im sure that i read on here somewhere that alpine make line level converters but i cant find the thread. Any info on these and part numbers would be great

line level converters are fine as long as you don't just buy the cheap junk a good llc should set you back about $35 - $40 pioneer and alpine both make llc's that you should be able to pick up from authorised dealers others probably make them also i just don't know of them i wouldn't run a competition system on them but they're fine for a bit of over enthusiastic listening
