hey, i was going to buy myself a 1200W boss amp for $349, but i dont know how good the quality is. does anyone know if boss is any good? (sorry i dont have more details about the amp)

i had two of them both stuffed up after 6 months... for something like $25 more buy audiobank.. its still cheap but they are a lot better..

i ran one for 2 years and then replaced it with a rockwood amp

I got a 1000W boss amp and it works pretty well. I havent really got any complaints with it although it does lack at bit in the quality department (I have also got a sansui amp and it produces much clearer and crisper sound (IMHO)). I thought my brother bought his 1000W amp for $190 at a straithfield sale so $349 sounds very expensive ... guess it must be a better and newer model or something.

Hey mate! My mate has a Boss Audio 1200watt amp and he rekons its great! hes running front speakers and 12" 400w sub of it..and sounds really good..!! umm, that price is abit steep! check this out

249 same product...or maybe go to 1000watt and pay less again...u could prob aford to wait awhile and run 2 1000watt amps for not that much more!!!

I have one, and am happy with it (havent had it going for long) my bro has had his in for a year, runs a 10 inch pioneer and rear 6x9's and sounds sweet, my mate has one (as well as a pioneer) just to run speakers, and does the job well (his is smaller tho).

its one of those things, get what you pay for, but for what you ARE paying for, I think they are well worth it!

dont bother. for 360 you can get a much better amp. boss have the tendency to catch on fire, this along side their poor sound quality and highly overrated rms values. drop into Jaycar and have a squiz at their Response stuff, much better quality for the price. or alternatively look at http://www.advanceae.com.au/

nice response and power acoustik amps etc. cheaper and much better than boss crap.
