I bought a Ford Tempo which had a Panasonic aftermarket stereo and CD player. The unit was damaged, most of the features didn't work and the screen was blank also. It had a removable face plate which I took off along with a black cover held on with two screws with a connector for the face plate.

Now this is what I'm faced with, are the two sides just held in with the clips? I don't know how to release them unless I had holes to put the tools into on the sides. Or do I have to remove some more screws? I'm confused.

Well I got the radio out with some prying and pulling. Here is the dilemma I am faced with now.

The connector is way different, the guy seemed to have wired in some things (speakers?) into a new plug and put the old plug into the new one with three wires. I am confused as to what I am supposed to do to hook the old radio back up.

Pictures of the wiring, the white connector goes to the old aftermarket unit and then a picture of the connector on the stock unit.
