ok so here's waht i need.....

im gettin this sub

at a price i cant refuse

i dont know much at all about car audio...so i need to know what amp to run it on....
i was thinkin maybe 1 of these?

1 of those to run just the sub...and then later on down the track buying a 4 channel to power my 6x9's and whatever fronts i buy...

what do u guys think/reccomend?

just a side note....

it doesnt have to be pioneer, i was just looking at that because the sub was pioneer...

im open to any suggestions, i dont want to spend a fortune on the amp...but dont want anythin thats gonna die quickly or run the sub weak....

the amp is only to run the sub as well..

Both of those amps are too small. If you are on a budget I would of recommended the Jaycar 4 by 100wrms. This bridges to 2 by 300wrms at 4 ohms.

You will need a hefty amp to power that sub fully.
How much were you looking at spending on the amp?

Maybe look at second hand items on Car audio australia. Buying gear from there will save you heaps.

This would be pretty good for that sub and fairly cheap. Ive had my jaycar amp for 3 years and havent had a problem.
