why do you want an immobiliser? you should already have one installed... they come standard with AUI Futura - unless it has been removed?

http://www.brant.com.au/html/carsec.htm

This company, Brant is supposably well worth it

Prices :

AA02 $ 398.00
TP3 " "
PGM3 " "
(all above are 3 point immobilisers not alarms)

I'm fairly sure you can get cheaper ones out there, theses are at the top end of the market

Adam - I was looking at this very thing just the other week - don't need it any more as the supercharger I was after has already been sold!

Anyway, If they are insisting on a 2 point immobiliser, you will need to get something like the Millenium Upgrade alarm. It costs around $450 - 500 fitted. It runs off your standard remote, but has two points of immobilisation (I'm guessing starter and fuel pump), as opposed to the Ford single point immobiliser.

If they want a 6-point immobiliser, then you are looking at a Brandt immobiliser (as fitted to Subie WRXs). Can't remember exactly how much these were, but work on not much change from a grand!

Let's hope they only want a 2 point one!

Doesn't the insurance company have a preference?

Most, if insisting on one, will have their own favorites....
