Still i am hunting around for 5 x 7 replacements for the BA, and have just recently been told about a good brand called Infinity which are meant to be very good quality speakers.
On the website specs they have an adjustable tweeter in the speaker which can be rotated to suit the sound and location in the car.
Anyone own this brand and what are your thoughts on them?

Ahhh...Infinity!..These speakers are sweet as. We hooked up a set of front splits in a suby, and it cost him about $700. These are the premier speakers of the Infinity series. If your interested, gimme a part number and I will see what I can do for you.

You'll find that there are several models by different manufacturers available in 5x7 that have this feature. The JBL's do and when I was looking around I saw a couple of other sets that did as well.
Have not had any dealings with Infinity car speakers, but for what it's worth, a mate of mine has Infinity speakers as the mains for his home surround system - they are awesome. If their car speakers are anything like their home stereo speakers (only smaller, i hope), then you will be buying the best.

if i remember correctly all of the Infinity range of speakers are fantastic EXCEPT the reference series. the kappa and perfect series speakers could blow eardrums if amped correctly - i used to have kappa series 6" splits in the front and 6x9's in the rear all amped correctly and when adjusted properly there really is no need for a sub! (i had two 12"' cerwin vega's anyway!)
hope this helps!
PS: they could have changed series by now - not certain

The Kappa and Perfect 6.1's (i think) are what we installed into the WRX I was talking about b4. These are crystal as. And expensive!..But he didnt care...just wanted awesome sound.
Havent heard the 5x7s tho.

Id have to disagree with you BLO GMH, I have a set of the 130 dollar 6 inch 2 way Infinity reference series (with adjustable tweeter) in the rear of my EA and they are awesome!!! I also have a set of the reference splits (new series white cones) and they are also mad (not installed yet)
Granted the Kappas and Perfects are much better, but the Reference arent crappy... they are a very nice speaker and have extremely good build quality and sound amazing with the right amp
