Hi all, I'm after a few opinions on the best way to connect my soon to be ipod to the premium sound of my ef ghia. I heard there was some belkian connecter with a 3.5mm plug to directly connect as apposed to going through the radio. Does anyone know what plugs are on the back of these headunit ? possable rca's ? or anyone with any help/ opinions would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Mate, get yourself an iTrip. I reckon they work a treat. I've got one on my 20GB iPod (3g) and my partner has one on her mini iPod.

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...

As long as you follow the instructions and dial in the volume of the iPod for about 50% and pick an FM frequency that doesn't blend with a publicly broadcasted frequency then its fine. I use it all the time in my BA and it works a treat. I just hit random and throw it in the center console for hours of music.

So its not as good as a direct connection, but its just as good as a full stereo FM station.
