Just Got A New MP3 Stacker And Head Unit

Hey Guys,

Just got a new jvc KD-SX995 MP3 Head unit and jvc CH-X1500 12 disc mp3 stacker from JB Hi Fi for $800 the pair. gotta say, sound is great and its awesome to have around 130 albums worth of music in the car! Ive got it temporarily mounted in the top of the boot at the moment but was wondering if anyone else can recommend and good spots to put it in an AU or should i just leave it where it is? Thanks guys

MP3 is most definetely awesome. Like Delta said, keep it in the boot, just hide it from sight.

there would be no reason to get rid of steering wheel controls.. for a little money, u can get it converted over to take the new hardware

Yeah ditched the wheel controls, no need as the HU comes with a little remote, definately a good idea and youd be surprised how much easier it is not to have to lean forward and take my eyes off the road.

I looked into it a few months ago for my mates AU XLS, the adaptor was $225 my cost.
