Hmmm strange problem i have.
When i fire up my car my rear speakers dont work. The yare running thru an old amp i got with the car.
if i crank up the volume to really loud then the rear speakers kick in but the rear right 6X9 takes a little longer to kick in.

Any ideas? I htought maybey they need more power or soemthing on startup so a capacitor might help. I honestly got no idea lol...

capacitors have been proven to do absolutely nothing... if anything they drain from the system.

check all wiring, grounds etc. failing that check that battery current is constant and that there are no loose grounds

swap the amp channels around and see if the other speaker takes it time to fire up, if it does then sounds like the amp is shot time for a new one.

A cap will only help with massive load on the system, like a huge bass note that draws alot of power, more then can be supplied quickly from the charging system, they ten to deliver a once only as they have to charge again before the next big bass note, so generally speaking dont do alot, get a better alternator with more amps if there really is a problem (thats my opinion)
