hi i have a 99 model au and the stereo is flashing ''Err'' im guessing the previous owner put in the wrong code. I tried disconnecting the battery but it is still doing it any advice?

Sounds as if you will have to get correct code and enter that into radio .Disconnecting the battery wont solve fault .

If your unit has a serial number that begins with a M, send be that code and I can help you with the unlock code.

Cheers guys, might sound like a stupid question b ut without pulling the stereo out where would i find the serial number? its not anywhere visible

I was hoping someone from your area would jump in and help. I know nothing about the AU's. I'm guessing there is a button or a series of buttons to push that would display the serial number on the readout. Do you have an owners manual?

so i was driving my 2001 ford mustang gt 4.6l v8 last night and all of a sudden it just made this loud CLIICKKCKCKCK noise..scared the shit outa me so i turned down the music then when i pressed the gas it made the click noise and i pulled into a parking lot and shut it off then i turened it back on and it did the noise and smoke came out the back end.. gray smoke not blue.. so what the hell happened? i took it the the dealership cause its still under warranty and i either threw a rod or blew the engine?
