As the title suggests i was eating lunch and heard 2 girls playfuly screaming out the front so i walked up to the front door to have a gander to find the girl next door and her gorgeous friends washing their cars and soaking each other with the hose . So i thought what can i do to have a perve without making it obvious. Just installed a new sub and amp i put in a few days ago so i thought id set up the gains and the onboard EQ. anyway while i was having a gawk my screwdriver went off target and must have earthed the + output on the amp to the amp chassis and allmost shot the cones out of their chassis. Now the alpine amp flashes the error code "RCA ground floated" so i tried a new rca lead to no avail,

does this mean i have stuffed the output from the headunit ?

P.S. stereo still works fine except that it has a bad "humm" in it now

lol just had a thought, maybe i should take em to court like they did to the chick on seinfeld for walking down the street in her underwear causing them to crash their car whilst perving on her

If it didnt have a fuse in it it wouldnt turn on


and as for the 1507 they were and still are 1 of the best amps around...
ill have to get back to you after i have a little think

But if its an 1507 where does it say it has an rca ground float? they were a little before my time working in the industry.

the red blinking led refers to the fault code "rca ground float" in the alpine manual.

the 2 other mrv-t757's that are conected in series through the rca leads to the mrv-1507 are also flashing this code as well, i have tried connected these amps up to the front rca outs on the head unit with a new rca lead and the problem still occurs(they were connected to the rear rca out's previously)
