Read Please Help EF Cassette Stereo Pre Amp Out?

My EF Radio Cassette has 3 connection plugs at the rear of it,
I don't know if this is a Low, Mid or Premium Head unit. It has the FMS sticker on it, plus these plugs at the rear
Top 1 (12 pin plug) for front speakers and other power, lighting, antenna etc
Question 1
Bottom right "Black CD Stacker plug" (with about 13 pins from memory), (what Brand of CD Stacker can I plug in to this?)
Question 2
And Bottom left plug (8 pin)
The rears work off 4 of these, but their seems to be 4 spare connectors coming out of it, I hoped that someone could tell me if they can be connected to anything inside the head unit?
Question 3
I'd prefer it if they were a preamp out of even a hi power output for a sub or two, does anyone know? could I be so lucky?

Ford gave me a wiring diagram that said what the standard speaker wires were, but not the spares. :-(
and I have seen the wiring diagram elsewhere in this forum but they are for slightly different Head units.

I'd hate to blow my amp or head unit to find out :-(

Question 4
If these spare pins are not connectable, how can I feed a sub via the output of any of the existing speaker outs and still going through a seperate amp if necessary while still feeding the other 6 speakers without degradation.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Ghia, that one seems to be different than Mine, My unit has the single deck height , The Top Main Plug is the same. the single earth plug sits to the left of the main plug

The CD Plug looks like the Number 5 plug and is where the Black round plug is on that Premium Head Unit, (Mine has no round DIN Plug)

The Rear speaker 8 Pin plug is to the left of the CD plug

Seems strange to provide pins in this 8 PIN plug that don't do anything. Anybody Help
Thanks

biggrin

I found the particulars of my head unit

the model number is FCT 015A1
& Ford Part number 94DA-18B865-BC
and the bottom right plug for CD / DSP is 16 Pin not 13 as I said earlier.
Come On peoples, anybody out there with a bit of knowledge they wish to empart my way please, or do I have to write to Ford and ask the manufacturer, if they can recall this info back 7 years???
