I've got a Factory Probe Subwoofer that goes in the trunk. Now here's the problem. I have to be able to hook it up in the trunk. How the hell do I do that. And it doesn't seem to fit in the trunk as well as I had expected because it was off of a newer PGT. I have a 93, and I'm wondering if anyone knows about the factory sub and could help me hook it up.

I maybe wrong but wern't the 1st gens the only ones to come with a factory sub in the trunk?

yep your wrong. 2G's had subs also.


but to answer your question, the sub goes in the pass side corner of the trunk. If you pull the trunk panel out that the box goes against and look on the back side, you can see makrings for where the panel must be cut for the box to sit flush against the panel. there is also a metal bracket that goes along the bottom that the box bolts to the floor with. good luck.

why do you want the factory subwoofer?

it's better than nothing and the stock stub is "decent". Not to mention it makes for a clean install. Just guessing.

oh of coarse! as far as the enclosure it is fine! one of our fellow ALPOC members has a JL Audio 6.5" in his stock enclosure.
