Radio modification
I have a 1999 F-150 supercab 4x4. It has the factory am/fm/cassette radio, with the factory 6-disc changer in the console (between the captain's chairs). I am trying to add an auxillary input so I can connect/disconnect an mp3-player. Can I use an A/B switch to add another line to the CD-changer output so that I can plug in the mp3 player? I think this should be straight-forward, but they sell so many devices to accomplish this that I think there must be a catch...why spend several hundred dollars, when you could do it for under 10?
Also, does anybody know which wires are the output from the CD-changer?
