confused ranger/ b-series cd player

I have a factory installed ford pioneer cd player in my 05 mazda b-series truck. It has an extra connection port on rear. It is labeled AMP. It has 4 pins. What is this for?

Thanks. How do I go about hooking up an amp or powered sub to this?
