Just bought a secondhand Mondeo Finesse.

I have the keycode for the stereo but not sure how to input the keycode.

Model is RDS5000

Anyone help?

Turn the radio off.

When you turn it back on again (wait a couple of seconds), just input the numbers using the presets 1-6. It should work straight away.


Hope that clears it up!

If that doesnt work --> trip to ford dealer.

Sorted it, the problem was that the Auction rooms we got the car from had obvioulsy "mixed" up the panel and radio so the keycode we had was for another panel.


Got the right keycode from the back of the stereo and all working ok now
