How good are the response gold Kevler 6.5" split speakers? For rear shelf.Have 12" sealed sub..
They look and sound good price is o/k too..

what speakers do you have in the front?


The splits would be better up front, jaycar splits are pretty good for the money, their audio stuff gets fairly good ratings from time to time in magazines, so it cant ba all that bad.

For around $250-$300 you can pick up a set of alpine or clarion splits.

If your only chasing back speakers, personally i would just get a set of 2 ways.
For the same price, you can get a real good set of coaxials, and would most likeky sound better that having splits in the back.
Splits are good for staging the sound infront, but you dont really need to stage the back, you just need "fill"

But its upto you, if you want splits, get them because they will be good for the price

Yes I agree.They sound very good. I know what you mean about front speakers.I changed the 80w 4" with 6" Kenwood splits Oh what a differeance!!!Mind I fitted a good head unit at the same time...
