there is a loom in the tailgate of ea wagons - does anyone know which are the wires (and colours) for rear speakers?

yep the wiring loom is already there, both connectors are already in the tail gate. Left wires are pink with blue/green trace , right wires are blue with black/red trace.

I ran my own 12 gauge cable to the boot and even the front speakers, I dont care what anyone says but thicker cable actually does make a difference. Especially with the distance from the head unit to the rear speakers is so long, almost 7 metres each side. If you do run your own cable run it through the left hand side. It made such a big difference to the clarity of the bass it was well worth the $30 for the cable, and it made the treble in the front speakers so much clearer aswell.

I actually had no choice in my Eb1 wagon. There was no cable running to the head unit. The connectors were in the tailgate but ended just inside the rear back
panel. I just ran them under the floor door/carpet retainers.
