Having a bit of trouble removing the old radio in my friend's XF. I think I have taken out ever screw I can get to and still the stereo/centre dash/surrounding area won't come loose. Any ideas / steps I might have missed?

oky doky... still cant get it out... I can see 2 screws (with funny / no heads) that attach the radio to the mounting bracket, might try and get them out tomorrow and see if any miracles happen.. I still cant get the centre dash assembly out *mutter*

if i remember correctly when me and Peuty took the old radio out of my XF, it was pop rivotted (spelling?) in there on both sides, had to drill it out lol, other than that i believe the XF's are a damn bitch to work with in a stereo installation point of view lol

The two XF's that i've had have been a breeze.

2 screws held the fascia plate on, and then 2 more held the radio in, and then another 2 held the brackets in.

Both time's and have cut and bent the original stereo bracket's to fit CD players and it looks like a pro did it.

Post some pics of where your at so far. This will helps us understand.
