hey all. ive got a 99 AU XR6 and recently bought a new pioneer head unit. does anyone out there know how to remove the old head unit without damaging the dash too much? i really dont have a clue what im doing!
get some Radio removal Tools and u wont damage the dash at all. Looks like 2 "U"s with little balls on the end Put em in and Push away from the sterio. Easy as PIE
I use 2 pieces of wire (same size as the holes) bent in the shape of a "u" to do the trick. I've also heard of people using coat-hanger wire also, but I think it might be a little too flimsy.
