A mate at work asked me today what could he replace his OEM speakers with.
Can anyone suggest a good quality speaker to replace the standard BA ones?
And what size is required to replace both front and rear.
He is not after amplifiers or any whopping big system, just something that is better quality than the standard ones and will fit in the standard recesses.
Price doesn't matter.

I have just had my BA XR8 (all 11 of them) done out with Bostons, and the sound is bloody perfect.. I did not touch the amps, just speakers, expensive little suckers but worth it. Alpine has new speakers out which are good, but being made in China and the cost of them, I went for USA made Bostons. The woofer in the back parcel shelf is Pioneer and made in Japan, if he has it leave it and save some money.. but go the Bostons!!!

Can you tell me about the Bostons, what model number and size are they to replace the standard speakers?
You sound very happy with them. Hmmm I wonder if I should do the same.....
