Slight problem brought on by some bass notes causes my rear view mirror to vibrate and move from where it's been positioned - usually not much but sometimes by a lot more than I would like.
Is there an easy solution to this (other than getting a new mirror or turning the bass down?)

Well mine just broke off at the base of the windscreen and took a chunk of glass with it. Haven't had a problem since Perhaps some form of silicon at the joint???
hmm perhaps, there seems to be a point where it can move around an inch or so with no resistance by hand so there might be something that's possibly tightenable

Well a small allen screw hold the mirror to the base plate, that is glued to the windscreen, so easily removed to give more room to play with it and fix it.
Jason.

Will a mirror from an XF fit onto the mount for a TE cortina? I like the larger mirror. It will also give me a chance do dampen the viabrations... Some tracks cause the existing mirror to sag aroung an inch!
