I have just purchased a sony ericcson handsfree kit for my AU Falcon. Does anyone have an idea which color wires go where and is it necessary to take the factory standard radio/cd player out? Any help would be appreciated.

there should be a 4-5 pin plug on the passenger side of the centre console, have a look round there and u will find it, u will have to remove some panels. if ur not too good with electronics u can buy a plug from ford that makes it easier, or u can get a stereo shop/ transport communications shop to wire the main box up which shouldnt cost more than $30-40 at the most (go somewhere else if it does) and then all u have to do is mount the speaker/mic/cradle.
