Question Speaker Install - ZH Fairlane

hey team... just bought a ZH Marquis with the standard tape deck/2 speaker stereo... eek!

I've got some plans about installing a CD head unit under the dash, but i've got no idea how I might get a couple of speakers on the parcel shelf without (gulp) cutting it...

My question was - has anyone got any experience with putting stereo's in old Falcons/Fairlanes? I'd imagine it'd be the same deal for XA-C's and earlier...

thanks in advance

Re: Speaker Install - ZH Fairlane

Spacers are the way but a custom shelf is better. It has to bolt/screw down and not cover any child restrait bolts.
