Re: speaker sizes

5x7s all round and there is a hole for an 8" sub in the parcel shelf.

Re: speaker sizes

Create a plate, aluminium would be best, but MDF in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm depending on spacing would be easier and cheaper.

Re: speaker sizes

I fitted 6" kenwoods in the front of my au2, just used self tapping screws, and got four in... worked a treat

Re: speaker sizes

younggun - but they arent very well sealed then, and you would have had them off centre to the speaker hole right ??

got any pics of your install to share with us.

Re: speaker sizes

5x7 is definately the easy way out, Boston Acoustics are a good choice and from memory start around $350 a pair.

You can also pick up a pair of Kenwood, JBL, Pioneer or Clarion units for around the $150 mark.

speakers

ok go for a set of 6" to 6 1/2" splits in the front with standard speakers in the rear and spring for an amp to run the fronts .and get a amp that will also run a sub and add the sub and box to your boot
