Hi Guys,

Ive installed a new sony head unit into my 92' Fairlane and everytime I turn off the car the radio resets itself. Does anybody know why this is. At the moment I have the green and yellow smart lock wires connected to the accessories is this correct?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know about the colors but you have to have one wire hot all the time to keep the memory. The other is hot in accessory position for the radio to come on with the key. the instructions should tell you what color wire is for which.

sounds like you have the constant and accessories power wires hooked up in reverse... easy enough to do.
