Hi guys I need some help here. Looking to upgrade the stereo in my BA XR8 ute. Nothing too flash, I just want to keep it simple, be able to play my music louder and clearer with a bit more bass.

I would like to simply replace the existing speakers with new ones of better quality and use the original locations so nobody would ever be able to tell. Not interested in a sub or amp. I have the 100 watt 6-speaker AM/FM Stereo Radio with 6-disc in-dash CD [is that premium or prestiege in utes I always forget].

So what are my options speaker wise - what do I have currently and what should I be looking at? Any suggestions - what have others done? If I will just be replacing my speakers with better quality ones what sort of power should the new speakers be?
